Senior Business Analyst

The group finance team of this national business is looking for a dynamic, switched on Senior Business Analyst to join their team for 10 months to provide support, advice on information and analysis support to various line management on a range of financial issues. Provide financial management support to Managers of each business group, including the monitoring, reporting and analysis of financial performance. Assist business units with budgets and strategies for business process improvement. Develop methodologies and procedures for the preparation of budgets. Recommend budgetary policies and practices and participate in developing long term plans and financial models to improve profit planning and budgeting. Coordinate the development of business case proposals for the procurement of capital items as required.

Successful CPA or CA candidates will be tertiary qualified in Accounting, with five years post graduation experience with demonstrated experience in business case development and Excel spreadsheet modelling  Demonstrated costing methodolgies and management accounting principles highly regarded. Systems experience in SAP R/3, SAP Business Warehouse and  SAP allocation and distribution cycles.
