Australian Visa Information

Kelly Executive will take care of your visa application process from start to finish, including assessing your eligibility to work in Australia as stipulated by the Australian Department of Immigration.

The visa you will be on will be a Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457).  This means that Kelly Executive can sponsor your visa in Australia as long as you meet certain criteria, such as:

• You must have either 5 years relevant recruitment or industry experience,
  OR
• 2yrs experience and also a degree level qualification

The 457 Visa lasts for up to four years and also includes Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA).  This means that as an international employee you are entitled to certain tax benefits whilst living in Australia, such as tax reductions based on living costs, ie accommodation.

You must be employed by Kelly Executive for your visa to remain valid.  If for any reason your employment with Kelly Executive ceases you would have 28 days to gain new sponsorship or you would be required to leave the country.

If you decide that Australia is somewhere you would like to make a permanent home, as many people do, upon completion of living in Australia for two years you can apply for Permanent Residency which would allow you the same rights as any other permanent resident of Australia, such as state health care etc.
